Re: The Travels of the Civic

Great photos Alex. That is a beautiful city.

I am keeping a travel diary of these pics on my Fotki account. It will include the descriptions that you type up under each picture. I've also uploaded some maps, to help follow the trip. Give some good descriptions of what we're seeing in the pics.

Great Idea CADguy, is there a way you can get a map of the path its going to follow so we could see who is next to get the civic?

Re: The Travels of the Civic

Hi all. The Civic is now in Sweden. Umeå. Unfortunately i realised that Umeå is quite boring and i am a bit stuck for photogenic locations. Here is the Civic outside the train station in Umeå, Sweden.

Who is having the Civic next? I think there was someone else in Sweden that wanted it, hopefully in one of the more interesting parts of the country.
P.M. me with address.

Matt

Hi Matt!
Shame that your Honda City couldn't show the Civic around town

CADguy - the Civic is cordially invited to visit Poland while it is in Europe

Re: The Travels of the Civic

Hey willimo, any chance the civic can visit my 1:1 Civic in Aggieland? Our stadium is gigantic as well! (Although, I think it only holds 86k people)

Or, would I be too much of a copycat if I offered up the Viper for a world tour as well?

Re: The Travels of the Civic

It's already heading to Texas for someone else and I, so I don't see why we can't let it pit stop in Aggieland, as long as you be nice and take some over in Longhorn County.

Me going to Longhorn Country would be like Dracula stopping in at the Vatican. I can't guarantee the safety of the model.

Yeah, that would have been cool. I have nearly finished the body work on the City. A little more sanding and then priming. But then again it is always a bit more sanding. I will take some pictures now and show where i am with it.

Re: The Travels of the Civic

Thanks tikiman for being a good custodian of my traveller. I hope you are enjoying your time with it (err...)

I don't know it's order exactly in Europe (I thought I did but I didn't expect it to go from Ales to you, so now I dunno) but next is probably Bas Carwash if he's still up for it. Whoever is planning to send it on to hiroboy, make sure you say so so we could squeeze in any last minute stops between you and him.

99civichic - it'll eventually come around to the US and when it does we'll squeeze you in. Texas is sort of toward the end of the tour, so you might have finished A&M by then! But I dunno, it might kind of laugh at your stadium and football team

No problemo Willimo. A pleasure to have it. Oh by the way, has it always been lacking an engine?
