Anyone who works on his/her own car, I need your help...
Hello everyone,
I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Maryland and I am taking a design class for which I have to survey users of ratchet wrenches (the kind that are used with sockets) Please take a minute or two to fill this survey out. Please copy and paste the survey into your reply box and type your answers after the questions. Thanks a lot, everyone! IN A RATCHET WRENCH, 1. FALSE b) If False, is durability of the ratcheting mechanism the concern? YES c) Please rank your preference of ratcheting precision to durability. Precise [] [] [] [] Durable 3 4. Length of Handle a) For a 3/8 drive wrench, would the optimum length be: 7" b) Would you be interested in a extendable handle? Only if it was strong enough to be usable c) For an extendable handle, rank your preference: Extendibility [] [] [] [] Durability 4 5. Grip a) Thickness: half b) Ergonomical Grip (fits the contours of your hand)? YES c) [] Rubber [] Metal ? Rubber d) If made of a rubber-like material, rank your preference of softness: soft [] [] [] [] stiff stiff e) Would you buy a ratchet wrench with a removable rubber grip, to be able to choose between rubber and metal grips? NO, it would fall off

A survey like this sure looks like market research to me, not someone from an engineering school. In the future please PM me for approval before posting market research surveys.
