Yeah can upgrade the system with the Delphi Nav system Part# 15204335. You may not be able to get this from the dealer, If so am sure it's way over priced. Best place to look is on ebay. am about to the same to mine. The only thing is you have to have the dealer program the vin number into the radio.

Re: Envoy Navigation Radio Upgrade??
Most upgrades at this point with the Envoy models involve software upgrades so you may want to look at that too.

I would like to upgrade my 6 disc BOSE system to the NAV system in my 2002 Envoy. I have OnStar also. Would it be a direct swap with a NAV unit from a 2002 GMC?

The Nav headunit will be a direct swap for your factory headunit. There is a VSS (vehicle speed signal) wire that can be added to your headunit harness to make the movement on the navigation a little smoother but it is not necessary for it to work. the nav unit you will want to use is: #15108421 (INR) or 10377287 (TNR) and the antenna #15135178. It is a direct swap for 2003 and up because of the data bus..... Last edited by FplcMan; 02-17-2005 at 08:44 AM. |
