Thumbs up I have arrived!

Hey, this board rocks. Modelers building mostly my favorite brand of kit. I will come back often. I am getting back into the hobby after taking a one year hiatus. I am trying to figure out which one of my 11 unbuilt kits to start on as we speak. I am thinking I will do my newly aquired Fujimi Lancer Evo VII.

Welcome to addicts heaven!
You will never stop again as long as you frequent this board, trust me!

Is the Evo standard or one of the modified versions?

You will also need a digital camera, or you'll never get peace here!

It's the standard one, molded in yellow with the regular wheels.
About the camera, I'll work on that.
It's been awhile for me in this hobby. The only kits I have left that are built from my former collection are a Tamiya Peugot 206 WRC, Tamiya '98 Subaru WRC tarmac, Tamiya Mobil One NSX, and a Tamiya Skyline R34 GTR. All others got messed up from all of my moving this year.
I don't know if thats for sure the one I will build. I thought it would be an easy one to get back into it. I have these to choose from:

Tamiya-Old Skyline 2000, PIAA Accord, Kure Skyline R33, Sard Supra, Calsonic Primera, Evo V WRC, and Mitsubishi GTO

Hasegawa-Galant vr4, Galant vr4 1000 lakes rally, Galant vr4 swedish rally, and Galant vr4-uh I forget, but it's the one with the brush guards and off road lights

Fujimi-Lancer Evo VII

Maybe you guys can help me choose?

We have a good thread which would help you through building the R34 GTR.
But then none of us have seen the Evo VII built yet, so I say go with that.
I'd avoid anything with decals for the moment (i.e. Most of you collection!!!)

I already built the GTR. It's one of the four kits I mentioned that didn't get crushed during moving. I'll build the EVO VII. It looks pretty easy. The last kit I remember doing was the Volvo 850 Saloon BTCC. I think that the decals took up 3/4 of the car. Tedious as hell.

Welcome along to the mad house Turbowop !!!

Thats a nice collection of kits you have made and are going to make. If it was me i'd be making the PRIMERA NEXT !!!!.

The Volvo was a major job with the decals...and to think i made it twice plus the Peter Brock one.

Look forward to seeing you around here

Welcome to AF Modeling!

I hope to see some pics of your models. And I would also suggest to build the Primera it looks very sweet (when built right). I am planning on getting one soon.
