clicking noise

i have this sparatic metal clicking noise coming from my car. i've narrowed it down to either coming from my supercharger or my alternater, dear god let it be my alternater
it sounds like when you used to stick things in fans, that kinda noise, except more sparatic and random

i'm taking it to a mechanic hopefully wednesday

just take off your alternator then run your car and see if it does that. but sure you dont go too far because youll be running off the battery. then you got your answer whether its the alt or jrsc. 3 friends of mine had jrsc on there car and they all broke, but these were kinda hardcore racers.

when you say take off my alternator do you mean actually remove it from the car or just unhook the belt, becuase the same belt goes around the sc and the alt so no matter which way i do it both wont be running right?
