Great story Tony. I can just picture your Murci blowing past that Porsche... I wish I was there to see it. I probably wouldn't have the balls to do something like this with a $250k car, at least without about 15 years of driving experience under my belt. But you handled it well and burned this guy. We can wait for the pics, it's not like something like that happens every day... Or does it?

A day in the life..

The sun did finally come out on Saturday. I grabbed my camera and keys heading off to some nice location to take some (relative) pics. Of course I had to stop at the Best Buy which is the big electronics superstore in the US. After getting my daily fill of gadets and toys and phones and things I went back out to the parking lot to head off for a nice place to take pics. There was the usual large crowd of people at my car taking pics and admiring the lines. They got asking me questions and more questions and its a lazy saturday so I stayed and rapped for 30 minutes or so. It was getting late so I decided to take off (by now there was about 30 people, crowds attract larger crowds). I climbed in, fired up the engine to the roar of applause and hit the road. So off to parts unknown to take pics. I pull on the highway and immediately a white Porsce, 911 turbo I think, was in my mirror. Then he was on my left, then on my right, faster then slower then faster again. A challenge? But no, I should just keep my cool. Ah hell! I lost my cool and we were off. Passing car after car weaving in and out brakeing and accelerating. The Porsce is taking me in this manuevering game. I'm not much of a driver and this guy is pretty good. Finally a long stretch of road without cars. Like I said, I'm not much of a driver, but I know what to do with that. I hit the accellerator and in an instant went from 60 to 90 and then into third gear. As I passed him I saw him smiling. As I approached 130 I looked in the mirror to see the white Porsce a few hundred feet behind. So I began to slow. Hmmm where am I? I must have missed my exit in all the excitment. I whipped off the highway waved to white Porsce and hung a U turn, (I mean flipped a bitch) . See, I'm learning how to talk like you young spartans. So I get back on the highway and my cell phone starts ringing. After taking care of business, I look up to see that Ive missed my exit again by about 5 miles this time. Damm! So I exit again do a U turn and come to a red light. I look at the car to my left to see a guy with a cam corder tapeing me and giving me the thumbs up. The light turned green. As long as Im being filmed I might as well give him his moneys worth. a hundred miles an hour later I couldnt see him any more so I figured I better get back to looking for a place to take pics. Damm the sun is going down. Oh well I can try again tomorrow. After a very exhilerating ride home (the long way) I pulled into my garage and was greeted by my dog Greedy Smurf. I came in to the house sat down with a smile on my face and nothing to do. What a great time I had doing nothing in my Murcielago. Moments like these are meant to be shared with people who can appreciate them.

That was a great story! It has to get annoying though when you walk out of a store and there's a million and one people standing around your car. But you can't just blow em off like they're not there, b/c then you'll look like a jerk. I bet it felt good to get out of 2nd gear for a change and to actually put all that power to use.

wow tony,

thanks for sharing your nice story with us.
i think we can all hardly imagine how much fun it is to drive this sweet car.
i can understand the people standning arround your car. i would do the same like all of us .
you get so much attraction.... first i think it is really interesting and you like it to be in the spot light but after some time isn´t it getting annoying with all the people. of cause the car is NOT getting annoying

My wife dosen't like it at all. She calls the crowd the "poparazzi" because theya are always there and always taking pictures. You would think I'd get really annoyed by now but I don't. I guess I just like people. One of my rules of being a good company leader is that you have to be the type of person who genuinely likes everyone.

wow Great story Tony hehehehe

I like Porsches a lot instead of Ferraris (I'm not a Ferrari boy) but of course a Ferrari or a Porsche have nothing to do against a Lamborghini.

Why not the next step?

What's next step?

Easy, A HIDDEN CAMERA.

Yes! A hidden camera, like the movie... "xXx"

Please, calm (is not a porno movie) is the movie from Vin Diesel, xXx.

Anyone here remembers the scene from the xXx movie?

The Senator of the California State, who have a red 'vette with a label in the rear "SKATE BOARDING IS A CRIME!" hehehehe parking the car in the Golf Club with his Blonde girl?

And what do Vin Diesel? steals Senator Dick Hotchkiss's car... and launch it through a bridge yeeeaahhh hahahaha

I'm wondering how will be the situation... a Lamborghini and a Ferrari ... in the highway ... or in the traffic lights and the Lambo winning the Ferrari...

Catch Ferraris must not be complicated at all in USA, almost here in Spain you can find some of them in the Discos

ANYONE HERE WITH A MURCIELAGO WANT TO INSTALL A CAMERA (A LITTLE CAMERA) AND GAVE US THAT PLEASURE... WIN A FERRARI AND SHOW US

The idea is released...

It worthwhile
