passenger windows won't go down? only driver
I recently purchased my 95 j30. By recently, I mean 3 days ago. Anyways, I really love the way this car drives and the way my two 12" rockford he's sound in it. It is really a clean car considering I almost feel like I stole it. I purchased my J off of a used lot for 2495 dollars. No accident record and runs like a champ. But by god the passenger windows won't roll down. Not a big deal now since it is the middle of winter, but come spring time i will be rather frustrated. I don't believe it is the window motors, because all three passenger widows are out while the driver window works fine. When I go to roll them down from the driver controls I can hear a click noise, but nothing happens. Beings they all are out except for the driver window I'm thinking that there might be a simple switch problem or a wiring failure. ....I'm hoping let me know anything you know.

Could be either switches, relays(probably on ethat controls all the windows), or the motors. There could be a short but that would blow a fuse. Check you fuses as well.

My back window just started this. It will not go down or make any noise at all. Would that still be a fuse?

sounds like the window motors are faulty
they have a cable system to operate them the wire cables break or the mount point comes adrift either way they are screwed |
