Re: Mitsubishi 3000 TT VS Honda Prelude VTEC??

vtec controller is what we called it 2 yrs ago, and i prefer to call it that as well. I can adjust vtec on any rpm band. It really doesnt matter that i call it vtec timer or vtec controller, who cares????? why not call it VAFC istead? it doesnt matter, it all does the same thing.

Re: Mitsubishi 3000 TT VS Honda Prelude VTEC??

well if you really run 12.9 then you have a very good chance of beating the VR4. NOW that i look at it those two cars stock. the Vr4 would kill you really bad

Re: Mitsubishi 3000 TT VS Honda Prelude VTEC??

Let's try and keep the tempers to a minimum guys.

With the list of mods that you have done I "almost" buy it.

However, you have to understand that alot of people come out here every day, sign up for the boards and post the most insane claims you can imagine. Just today I punked another guy that claimed he'd test driven a GT-R in Seattle.

I have been drag racing for the last 15 years at Seattle Int'l Raceway (now Pacific Raceways) and have also been building cars for the same amount of time.

Now, like I said earlier. I "almost" buy this with the list of mods that you are talking about but you have a few holes that need to be patched up.

First, you would have to have an LSD installed. Your car did NOT come with one. Also, your half-shafts would have to have been upgraded because to run those times with your mods, you would need slicks on your car.

Also, pics of timeslips are always useful to calm the masses.

No upgraded half-shafts, the stock ones hold out just fine. And i wasent running slicks, i was running with steelies on the front and some 16" 10lbs racing wheels on the back. from 5Zigen.

No LSD was not on my car of production line, but the guy i bought the car from had LSD on the car already as well as the i/h/e, i just upgraded it, and then we took it to the tuner, our dyno. i really didnt come here to be bullshited. I dont liek this import internet culture.
No respect is ever givin, its always word agenst word. thank you 3kgt8 for the inforamtion i needed.
Im done here.

more kill stories to come

Respect is given here all the time, but when you say you have a "stock" prelude that runs 13's i'm not gonna believe you not matter what.Sub 12's with the work you have done is very possible an i can believe that, it's all up to the driver to complete it. I just don't believe your stock 1/4 run.

Now, i'm not saying i know everything, but i'm quite competent on honda tunning which is the reason i'm doubting your stock numbers.I believe your numbers after the tuning was done, but not your stock numbers my friend.
