Here you go. It's just a thicker formula super-glue.

Re: Tamiya Ferrari 312 T 1975 1/12
Hi,
finally the brake ducts are finished. The first attempt not really good.I had to much bubbles in the resin. The second failed because of my to thick glass fibre mat. So i deciede to make an offen cast and put the holes with my Dremel in it. After that i painted it with clear-orange and put a layer tamiya smoke on it.It little sanding gaves them the used look i wanted. Now its ok. Kind Regards Christian |

Re: Tamiya Ferrari 312 T 1975 1/12
Hi,
no improvment today, only some changes of the color. The chrom from the wings was not so good i thought it could be. ................so i bought a little upgrade set for my painting jobs. Tomorrow i will test the alclad stuff.I think i take polished Aluminium for the wings.Im not shure what color matches the rims? Any hint for me? I have bought Polished Aluminuim,Chrome for plastic,Duraluminuim and steel. The car was improved with cables and the frontsuspension was painted. Not enough to show, maybee after the alclad paint session. Kind Regards Christian |

Re: Tamiya Ferrari 312 T 1975 1/12
Hi,
i just ended with the front suspension.... and a closer shot... I was not happy with the tamiya screw and so i made my own solution. I put the screw in,take some putty and glued them to the rims. Now i can screw the hole rims with the rubber on it and the screw is invisible. Kind Regards Christian |

Re: Tamiya Ferrari 312 T 1975 1/12
This is coming on really well Christian. I love what you have done with the GRP parts. I was thinking about covering them in pantyhose material and applying a dark brown wash when I do mine. This will take some experimenting.
Regards, Steve. |

Re: Tamiya Ferrari 312 T 1975 1/12
Hi,
today a little update of the car and no other stuff! The bodyparts are ready for primer. All fit good together, but the enginecowling wont fit. I hade mounted the engine wrong to the chassis wall. The angle was a bit wrong and so the engine was in the area of the exhaust a bit to high. That was enough that the cowling wont go down enough. So it was a job for the saw! I cut the engine of the car.Use some sanding and glued it to the chassis again. Now is everything ok.The bodyparts fit well together. Puh! Next troublemaker was the muffler springs. This little things make me bother so a lot. It took one hour till i got them in. But i make a little mistake with the mounting of the springs.I make the springs on the wrong side. They are under the exhaust. At the real car they are on top. I will make no changes anymore to them. Kind Regards Christian |

Re: Tamiya Ferrari 312 T 1975 1/12
Hi,
i just want to show my weekend work on the ferrari. I have all the bodywork spayed with tamiya ts italien-red from the can. The clearcoat is prisma color also from the can. Everything is looking good to me,so i can begin with the decals. The front and rearwing are only lay onto it without glue.I want to glue them when the rims are on so that the angle is right. The enginehood is waiting for her clearcoat because the 2-color style is a bit more work than the normal bodyparts. The engine has become some more cables and the other small parts are neyrly ready for install. Kind Regards Christian |

Hi Christian,
the Ferrari is looking awesome. The detailing is super, you must have good references. Shame the engine mounting gave you a hard time, well done to rectify it. Regards, Steve. |
