My friends Dodge Ram Truck Problem...
Well My friend just bought a 2002 Dodge ram 1500. He bought it brand new. When he put the first 1000k on it he was getting around 7 miles to the liter. Now at about 3000ks on the truck he is getting like 3 to 4 miles to the liter. It should be a hell of a lot better then that. It should actually get better as it breaks in.
Anyone else have this problem? Or know why its mileage is getting SO bad.. Thanks DD |

Wow, that sounds horrible!
Maybe he should have a non-Dodge mechanic take a peek. Sounds like he might have got a lemon... |

I have had good luck with my 2002 RAM. I get between 13 and 21 mpg with the 4.7L v8. Make sure your friend is using 87 octane fuel.

4 kiles to the LITER?
uh you didnt say what engine he had, however 16 miles per gallon for a 5.9 would not be unreasonable...just a thought
