Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
Not sure - trying to find out where the picture came from. A photographer friend of mine sent it to me and only said that it came up on his FB feed, not who took it or anything else. If its an older picture it is probably #064. If recent then that car is supposed to be elsewhere now.
EDIT: Yeah - it is S-P-S, you can see their logo on the lift just over the roof of the grey 911 Turbo in the shot of the F1. Here's a pair of the Orange Cinque for location comparison: >8^) ER |

And also with a nice feel for detail; watch the steering wheel for instance, it's in straight ahead position, while the wheel isn't. With a lock to lock in 2.8 turns the steeringwheel in straight well choosen. |

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
My friend Wen got to check out #021 in the garage at McLaren Singapore:
The real shocker is he says the car has just 86 miles on the odometer. Is that even possible? >8^) ER Last edited by Peloton25; 03-24-2012 at 05:05 PM. |

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
Discovered a very nice set of photos of #064 taken during its time in Hong Kong. To save you all the struggle of downloading them from the slowest image hosting site I have found in years () I've gone ahead and rehosted them with ImageShack. This was the original source here and the shots were taken in early 2011. If you have a ton of free time he has some other great spots in his galleries.
Here's a shot of the photographer, Enzo Lo, with the car and another random image I found. Enjoy! >8^) ER EDIT: On that note about his additional galleries, I just discovered an earlier set of 42 images he took of the car back in 2009. I simply don't have the patience to DL them all right now so maybe someone else has the free time? I think a few of them have been shared before, but certainly not the majority and the gallery page just timed out on me trying to even load the thumbnails. Find them here if you are interested. |

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
Any idea where it was taken, or if more are likely to show up?
I would be stoked if it were being prepared for a public showing. Though I haven't seen any pigs flying yet... |

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet
Fantastic photo!! Shame it needs the ugly number plate sticker...
With my detective hat on I think that photo will probably be at the Toy Shop in Mt Cook when it was getting a Warrant of Fitness done. But an old photo judging by the number plate on the Aston Vanquish "SCP". That's now on a VT Diablo that's been in at Powerhaus for a few months getting major work done. |

Your detective hat works wonders.
Photo was shared by the source back in December 2011. Not sure if that's exactly when it was taken though. >8^) ER |
