2004 Quest starter problems

Hi all. My neighbor has a 2004 quest that has been to the dealer several times for a starter issue. It will just normally click at the solenoid. The first time, the dealer changed the battery. Then the starter. She said that she has to keep tapping the solenoid and then it would work. Two weeks ago, she tried to start it and it would barely turn over. I put a meter on the battery which was only a year and a half old, and it read 10.6 volts. We installed a new battery and it was good until yesterday. No click at the solenoid what so ever. We jumpered the solenoid and nothing. The car won't even jump start. The battery was reading 12.6 on the meter. We pulled the starter and autozone said that it is def bad. This is the 3rd bad starter in 2 years from the dealer. It has a remanufactured sticker on it. Is this a common problem on these? Any inputs are appreciated. Thanks
