Audiobahn = steaming pile of .....

shit.
thats exactly what they are. i started hearing a rattle this morning from my rear passenger speaker. i assumed i had eaither blown it or something found its way into the cone. i was wrong.

thats what its sposed to look like.

thats what it looks like right now. i have no clue how the hell this would happen, its barly @ RMS power. the only thing i could think of is the bass rattling it loose, which makes no sense.

any ideas on why this would happen?

I bet it's held together with spit. That's how big macs stay together, you know. A little stress, and it falls apart.

Re: Audiobahn = steaming pile of .....

no, its still working, i jsut have to hold the moutning for the VC down so it doesnt rattle like a bitch.

im going to get 6x9-->6.5" adapters and put a pair of nice 6.5" in there. speaking of 6.5"s, whats a good pair of 6.5"s for under like 150 that can run well on 100-125W. im not really worried about good bass, im getting the sub (s?) for that.
