Hi guys just got home from an s.o.s from the mother-n-law she said she was driving along and she lost engine power and the oil light came on and the service engine light was already on, when I got there she was low on fuel but the computer said it still had 46 miles to go before it was empty, well I put some gas n the car, turned it over it start but the rpms when up and down on its own like twice then cut off, hook the coder reader up and it said coolant was below thermostat so I the fill the coolant up to the cold fill line, still same deal it will start, but it revs then dies, I could very faintly hear the pump prime, check the pressure valve off the firewall and no gas came out, sounds like a fuel pump problem, what does it sound like to u guys? the car has 75,000 miles on it, keep in mind my in law isnt car smart so the oil was low and i topped it off and the in dash computer read check the charging system, but the battery was strong...
