Hi guys,
Yesterday I fixed a few problems with the '91 Grand Marquis my grandfather gave me. I replaced the antenna mast, installed a new climate control panel, and fixed (replugged in) the power lock motor in the right passenger door. After I cleaned up and reconnected the negative terminal to the battery, the interior lights came on. I thought maybe I hadn't shut one of the doors all the way and checked but they stayed on. I have no idea why all of a sudden they refuse to go out. I ended up just having to disconnect the battery again to save it.
Today I went back and took the trim back off the door to see if I had maybe jarred the switch letting the car know the door was open, but I didn't see anything I have moved or bumped, even though I don't even know what I would be looking for there. All I did te previous time was reach in and plug in the motor, so I didn't touch anything else.
Any ideas?
