In park or nuet. idle is fine. When I drive it goes up to about 2000 and won't come back down until I make a complete stop. ?? I replaced isc and reset everything. Any idea??? 93 Eldorado

Have you cleaned the throttle body and plates?

Re: Idle Problem ?

Any binding in the throttle linkage? How did you adjust the ISC?

Re: Idle Problem ?

I removed isc control took idle to 550. Had the plunger on isc all the way in. It was about 1/4" from throttle when I put it back on. ??

Re: Idle Problem ?

With the base idle at about 450 and the ISC fully manually retracted and unplugged, I set my clearance at .030. Seemed to work well.
