Re: Srs System

BETANCES, has there been an airbag deployment?
If the light is staying on have you had the system scanned for trouble codes?

When you turn the key to the ACC or ON position the SRS light comes on but should go out after 6 seconds or so.

If it stays on or flashes the airbag sensor assembly has detected a malfunction code.

If after 6 seconds the SRS light SOMETIMES lights up even with the ignition switch OFF, then you might have a short in the SRS warning light circuit.

Can you explain why the SRS needs resetting?

Re: Srs System

There's a junction box under the left dash panel about where your left knee would be. You'll see 3 rows of fuses and other connections. The top row second fuse is called ECU-B 7.5A. Check that fuse.
