advice please
i'm getting a hand-me-down car this year and i'm thinking about modifing it somewhat for aethetics and sterio sound quality. after i take my ap's i'll be getting a lot of cash, so i need to know what to spend it on. should i invest in a body kit or in a paint job? what sorts of sterios are superior? does anyone have any cool ideas, because i'd like to hear some?
here's what i'm planning at the moment: - new gas, brake, and clutch pedals - leather steering wheel cover - sony sterio receiver - 2 xplod 3 way speakers - 2 xplod 2 way speakers - possibly a body kit - possibly a paint job -CyPhEr |

body kits
body kits are a really good way to get your car lookin good. i love mine!! there are things to think about before u get one though. biggest thing is ground clearance, if u drop it and put a kit on, be ready to drive slow on driveway ramps and other fiberglass crunching obstacles. but un my opinion they are totally worth the money and occasional aggrevation.

In My Opinion...
First thing first, I would do away with the pedals. Take the money and spend it on something that will add to the car's preformance. Take the money that you were going to spend on the pedals and spend it on a new air intake. Second, I would not go with the Sony Speakers. I have some in my accord, and they are great for mid and high end, but you do not get much bass out of them, I have a pair of subs, so it realy doesnt matter. If you are looking for good stuff that isnt going to cost a whole lot, I would go with a Pioneer Head Unit, and for speakers, I would go with Infinity (or if looking to get a little more on cheaper side, Pioneer also) I would just stay away from the Sony speakers. If looking to get a sub, I would go with just one Subwoofer. Having 2 myself, I can say that the 2 take up more trunk space and just add weight. As far as an amp, Go Rockford Fosgate (I think R.F. will give you the best Price to Preformace ratio). All this is just my Opinion, its what I would have done if I was to Re-Buy all my stuff. T.W.N
