Question please help with electrical connector on 89 Century!!!!!!!

Am moving the power seat from a '89 Century to my '90 Century. Have got everything removed except the hot wire, which connects to a plastic power distribution block under the dash on the left side of the steering column.
The distribution block takes "large" and "Small" size plastic male connectors; the power seat uses a "small" male connector that looks like it has a crimped connection within a squarish plastic male connector...this connector appears to have sort of 2 u-shaped plastic channel pieces which lock together. I tried prying the outer u-shaped plastic piece, but doing so did not appear to release the male connector assembly from the female block.

If you know, PLEASE tell me how to get this connector off!!!
