hi i have just bought a bongo friendee and the hold light on the dash is flashing all the time does any body know why and what is it somethink to do with the automatic gearbox but what?

mine flashes cause my speedo doesent work you can get advice from Dr fox or there forums at bongofury website

Hi, mine flashes occassionally when its damp weather. Apparrently it's to with the chip on the speedo, when they change it Kph to Mph. Sorry i can't be much more help but even mechanics i've spoken to seem at a loss.
I have managed to discover it also ties up with air bag but doesn't present any danger of the bag going off unexpectedly.
I find if mine starts flashing, all you have to do is stop, turn off the engine then restart. That seems to do the trick on mine !
