Re: Re: The Best Exhaust
I know, that's what I was saying. The signature exhaust (with the divorced wastegate pipe) is $1600

Re: The Best Exhaust
I was thinkin of getting the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust system...only roughly somewhere between $500-$600
and i seen videos form the HKS site that has a WRX with it...it sounds pretty nice...and another thing i like about it is that the tip dosent look like a big-ass potatoe launcher or a coffie can! |

Re: The Best Exhaust
the EVO2 is now full stainless steel. its looks like a good buy. greddy always make good products. i couldnt have been more happier wit the EVO when i had it on my 99 Honda Accord.

Re: The Best Exhaust
i see the EVO is a popular choice. im guessin because of its quietness. but ive had JIC Titanium for about a month now. and i love it, and its really light on a count of it bein titanium.

greddy says the evo2 is for 2.5rs from 98-01, but is there anything that would make it incompatible with my 04 ts? what is it, hanger locations?
also, how is your jic for sound? i want something quiet, which is why i'm looking at the greddys.

Re: The Best Exhaust
if u arent afraid of having a louder exhaust, then you can go with Fujitsubo
their exhausts arent terribly loud, but it is definitely noticeable when driving by but the thing with fujitsubo is that they only make exhaust systems and their exhausts are very highgrade and give awesome hp gains compared to almost every other company |

Re: The Best Exhaust
imho Kakimoto GT1.0Z is the best easily. Literally a single straight pipe from the bottom of the downpipe to the muffler with no resonator and almost zero bends to rob horsepower(just a gradual curve to get it over the axle). You need a JDM length downpipe for it to fit though. Best flowing/highest power gains out there. But because of this its also the loudest for the wrx by far... catback alone sounds like blitz nur spec with catless up and downpipes... its just too much for alot of people. you still hear it for a minute after the car drives away =^_^=
best exhaust for niceness of sound is cobb tuning and their new downpipe. Very smooth and mellow sounding medium-loud 3" exhaust. This is what i have...

Re: The Best Exhaust
turbo magazine did a sound and power test for different exhausts and greddy was the quiest but came third in overall power.
