That would be my only gripe too...model looks fab though !

How did you get on with the decals? Did you spray the white areas? Are they later Cartograf decals? The old ones used to be way too transparent!

For the front fairing I could not use the kit decals because they were made ​​for the full fairing, I had to draw the decal with illustrator and printed them at a service center.



For the fairing I masked the area and I painted white under the decals.

The decal of the tank and the tail are the original cartograph.

I made ​​a stupid mistake, too late to correct it. The French flag in the side of the right has the colors reversed.

Lovely job! I wouldn't have noticed the mistake...but then I'm not French!
