advice about my hyundai excel gls car

i just recently bought a 1988 hyundai excel gls for $100 and it didnt run when i got it it had alot of things wrong with it and i replace most of them here is a few things i replaced

cleaned valve pan cover
put new valve pan gasket on
put new bolts on valve pan
put new oil/oil filter on it
pu new fuel filter on it
put new fuses in fuse box
put brake fluid in master cylinder
put steering fluid in it
put on new distributor cap/ rotor button

a few things i have not replaced but will soon

spark plug wires
all vaccum hoses to carburetor
timing belt
adjust timing
rear left wheel cylinder/ leaking fluid

my car will start for a alittle while but i have to keep pumping the gas pedal fast in order to keep it running and keep spraying starting fluid in the carb could it be the vaccum hoses missing thats causing it to bog down and stop running or could it be the fuel pump what could it be please email me can it be fixed email me @ bowmanweldon@homtail.com
