US E36 to EuroE36 engine
has anyone done a us to euro engine conversion on a e36 m3 in CA? I currently have a 95 E36 M3 and would like to transplant a 3.2L M3 engine into my car with OBDI. Can anyone help me. Thanks

Re: US E36 to EuroE36 engine
how much do you want for your current engine? And yes, it has been done plenty of times.

I dont know how much it is worth anymore. If the engines have been swaped out to euro spec engines, how did they get the car to pass smog? I dont think a referee will pass it it since the car emits alot more exhaust that the US spec ones. If you know of anyone that has done the swap please direct me to them.
Thanks |

Ok, i am trying to inplant the E46 M3 into my 1995 M3. Hopefully it works and passes emissions. Once that is done, my engine is up for sale.
