Kill - 93 3000gt vs 2004 4 cylinder accord

yah i know a v6 accord probably would have left me crying but heres the deal.

My friend just managed to trash his old accord so mom and dad gave him a brand new one and i dont know the specs, all i know is it is a 4 cylinder i-vtec.

Keep in mind we're both autos and just having a little bit of fun

Basically were at a light, i rev my engine, he smiles, light turns and were off. we stayed about even from a launch, i squeel the tires a bit from a brake launch but he kept up neck and neck until about 35-40 in which i just pulled car after car on him. I stopped at the next light and it actually turned green before he got there so i let him get even with me on about a 40 mph roll and we hit it. No contest, this engine may be old but its top end is killer. I hit 80 pretty quick and shut down with maybe 5 cars on him? He now tells me my car is pretty fast which i dont agree with but hey the respect is always nice. I've driven his car before and i think the only reason he managed to keep up at start was that his gears are pretty short, where as mine are pretty damn long.

Re: Kill - 93 3000gt vs 2004 v4 accord

my apologies, i've become too used to looking at the back of old jags with their big v12 emblem

by v4 i meant 4 cylinder in hopes that i would clearly distinguish that this wasn't a v6 engine (6 cylinder) as to avoid any misunderstandings
