Tranmission problem for Honda is still not fixed. What is going on?

I have a 2002 Honda Accord with about 170,000 miles on it. I posted previously that my car would give me a flashing D4 light and the TCS light comes on. I took it to a transmission mechanic and he diagnosed it with the code P0780 and said the Pressure control Solenoid A and B needs to be replaced. The Solenoids have been replaced and the problem is now worse. The TCS light and the blinking D4 comes on more frequently now. It comes on usually when it changes from first to second gear. I took it back and he says to identify the problem, it would be $425 to take the transmission apart again. What should I do? What is the problem? Should I get a new transmission? Is it cheaper to do so? What would you do if you are me? I asked him if it was the Transmission Control Module and he says no because it doesn't show up on the scanner. What should I do?

I would take it to a different shop for a second opinion. Try to find a mechanic who really knows Hondas well.
What else does the car do? Are gear changes delayed or jerky? Does it clunk when you shift into reverse or drive? Are there any other warning lights?
