Problem with Clarion Head Unit

Hey guys, i just connected my Clarion DXZ555mp to my car, everything works just fine, exept the cd... well, on my other car, i pushed the cd in.. it went in by itslef, automatically.. n to get it out, i press the eject button.

Now it wont go in automatically, so i basically can't put any cd's in.

Any idea why? Do u guys know what color the wire that controls that is? so i can check if the connection is good?

My car is a toyota corrola i got a wiring adapter kit..

Re: Problem with Clarion Head Unit

Thats an internal function. I wouldnt suggest just pulling it apart, ive done that to many times. With clarion im not sure but my panasonic had almost the same problem. When i wrecked my car theres a little plastic disc with holes and tabs that rotates to "slide" the cd in and out. It was a .49 part and they couldnt figure out the part number or name i ended up scraping the HU cause they never sent me the right part, after 10 orders.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: Problem with Clarion Head Unit

if you still have some kind of warranty, send it back - if you don't, see if you can fix it yourself (or maybe a buddy)
