Re: 2000 altima exhaust

yes I had a 4" exhuast put on and I think it sounds awsome as well as a wee bit more peppy with my intake and hyper ground kit.

Re: Re: 2000 altima exhaust

I have a custom 2 1/2" drag pipe put on, with a down pipe and an Apexi N1 Muffler on my 1995 Nissan Altima SE 5spd

it makes my car sound way better, that sexy low hum that drives people wild....and it gives my horsepower a decent boost.

no complaints

Re: 2000 altima exhaust

how much did your custom 2 1/2" pipe cost?

and another thing. I am probably gonna add a stillen 4-1 header but on the site it says that its for off road use only. Does this mean that it wont pass emissions? My 2000 se 5 speed has 2 catalitic converters and the header gets rid of one of them.

add a OBX Racing Header, street legal. it will replace 1 of the cat converters, replace the other with a down pipe. Why are you so worried about emissions? I seriously doubt a cop is gonna pull you over and say "let me see your header, son" and actually know the difference between a 2000 Stock header and an OBX Racing Header.

the 2 1/2" pipe cost about $150, cut and installed.

in that case, its fine....you will meet emissions laws with those parts, even the down pipe...but, you'd have to check with your city ordinance.
