Z06 and Ariel Atom are hardly practical lol. Evo is a good choice. S2000 (though not really very practical) and 350Z's are also nice choices. Depends how deep your pockets are. Really, there are countelss choices.

Re: Best Handling Street racing car
What exactly do you mean by "street racing car"?
Any street legal performance car? A certain price range of performance cars? Japanese imported performance cars? Domestic performance cars? It is a pretty broad term. Seeing as street racing itself is illegal would you include non-street legal cars? Handling can be pretty subjective as well. One man's sportscar is another man's boat. I might be able to give a personal answer if you can get more specific. The best handling car in the world at the moment is a Ferrari F2008 F1 car.

Re: Best Handling Street racing car
Yeah really, I would say a Z06 is more practical then an s2000, and considering that the c6 version is hitting supercar territory, thats pretty crazy.

Re: Best Handling Street racing car
Atom is obviously impractical for daily driving, but I'd have to say the Z06 could easily be a daily driver. It's not much less practical than most other 2-seaters and still gets up to 28mpg highway.

Re: Best Handling Street racing car
for cheaper thrills that almost anyman can almost afford as well be a winter driver as well, the front wheel drive acura integra type r does the slalom at 74 mph .....plus reliability and gas mileage . to put in perspective how impressive those slalom numbers are , the prelude sh only runs 62 mph through the cones ....so if were talking great handling thats fairly practical ,as well as a price still in the everymans stratosphere, my vote is for the integra type r . and yes i do realize i own an integra and most assume biased opinion from me , there is a car and driver review from 97 that goes into better detail.not quite sure how to post links , but if u google integra vs prelude ,it will pop up the mag article.its labelled "battle of the v techs , from sept issue 97 . the only cars that beat the tegger up to 97 were in the supercar category .very impressive and has got to legitamize the itr as a canadate for best handling practical car . but after all , i am a newbie .just my opinion.

Re: Best Handling Street racing car
I have a friend who only owns corvettes. He has two of them and needless to say they are daily driven haha. If you aren't going to have 4 people in the car you don't need 4 seats. I don't see how a vette and an atom are hardly practical, where a 2 seat s2000 and a 2 seat 350z are practical.
