Question M3 suspension compatability

When looking at aftermarket suspension catalogs I usually see the M3 parts ('95-98?) listed separately from the '92-'98 (?) 325i/325is parts. Are there compatability issues between the two vehicles? (Between, say a 1993 325is and a 1995 M3?) Will the M3 struts and springs bolt right into a regular 325? What parts are necessary to make it work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm almost 100% sure that all body style cars will be totally interchangable. ie E36 body will take any bolt on from any other E36 car. M3, 328, 325, 323. The only exception is in the engine and drive trane. All suspension, brakes, wheels, exterior body and interrior body parts will be totally interchangable.

NJMAXSELTD is right. There is not too much difference in the parts. I think that the M3 just has thicker springs, fatter roll bars beefer brakes. I know many of a 3 series guys who get the m3 suspension setup and exaust. I have also heard that the m3 setup lowers the car but not by very much. If you wanted a more aggresive look than it is just better to go with the Dinan coilover kit because like I said the m3 is not that much lower, mabey 1 inch.
