Well, this person was ready to unload $500 for my competitor's 2 12" subs until he heard my 2 12" $125 subs. 140's are real easily done with very little effort and really don't even need real quality equipment as long as the install is correct. 150's you'll have to really pay attention to your vehicle's harmonics and equipment along with the install. If you want to get into the 160's+ you'll then have to be using large amounts of subs and power. A great put together system consisting of at least 4 12" or larger subs should be able to hit into the 160's. After that, it will be above your budget.
