on and off switch

im not to good when it comes to car audio i was wondering if ther was anyway to put a switch in to control my sub's in the trunk im runnin rca cables to the amp and was wondering if i should just pt it on them or if theres another way to do it

Do you want to control the bass or just turn the amp on or off. If you want to turn it on and off run a remote wire with a switch on it, thats the easiest way that i know of doing it.

17 posts and already bein a whore WOW...... but yea does your amp have a plug in for a remote bass control (looks like a phone jack) if it does then you can just get the bass knob for that amp and be able to turn it up and down instead of just on and off...... there is a way to change the level straight through the RCAs but its prolyy not even worth the time or trouble.
