B series with an i-VTEC? Possible?
I've been wondering if it's possible to convert a B series engine from VTEC to i-VTEC, or does i-VTEC hit specs for the K series engines only?

No, the only thing you can mix a k head with is the s2000 f20.

Re: B series with an i-VTEC? Possible?
Well, I think he's guessing that the new S2000s are still running the F series engines, and that the new S2000s have i-VTEC.
The reason why the K series heads won't work with the B series blocks is that the K series runs backwards. |

The S2000's ARE still running the F series engines, and the new s2000's do NOT have i-VTEC. and your last comment makes no sense either. i always thought it was the b series that ran backwards, and the k series ran fowards. and even if they ran in the same direction, they still wouldn't fit.

Re: B series with an i-VTEC? Possible?
The new s2000 runs a F22C1. And NO it isn't i-vtec. If someone has some proof that you can swap a K series head on it, then bust it out, because I'd like to see it, but till then it is the same as mounting a D series motor onto a B series block.
It doesn't matter which way the motor faces, you still can't convert a B series to i-vtec, the parts are not interchangable.
