Re: engine swap part 2
its really the same shit save some dough and get like a 98 or something
your going to want the s2000 wiring harness and dash wiring and ecu, unless you go standalone most like the the s2k f20c engine and transmisson and a custom driveshaft and custom motor mounts, you'll probably need to do research to see how it fits in the chassis

Re: engine swap part 2
Why not you ask... because it is a dumb idea, thats why.
Seriously this sounds like a project for someone with way more money than sense and in the end will be a big waste of said money. With the cash it would cost to do the fabrication on the miata to put in the s2000 engine which by the way are not exactly common or cheap you could have just bought an s2000 or bought the miata, talked to FM and have a miata that would trash an s2000 (even one that only weighed 2300 lbs). And I would like to readdress the point of using a MazdaSpeed Miata and being stupid. It costs way more, its heavy, the only really good thing is it has a turbo but you would be taking that out anyway. You would be way better of with an NA (90-97), and spend the money you saved bracing the chassis, getting new suspension and paying for the motor. Sorry but this is a crap idea. DoubleTap |
