The zx2's were my fave escorts , they just got them right and stopped makin them. Smooth move ford. Also wish the retro rs200 comes back.
That lil car jumps in the air off the line and was 4wd.

as far as i know they didn't stop production of the zx2, i could have sworn that i saw the new 2004 zx2 in an ad or something

No im sure they stopped making the zx2 line up either 99-2000 , I work for ford and would have bought a brand new one , they replaced the zx2 with the zx3 focus.

No way, that's not possible, the ZX2 that I have is a 2001, and it was actually made in early 2001. they also have 2003 and I could have sworn that I saw a new 2004 at a local dealership. In 2000, they stopped making the escort zx2, but in 2001 ford began making the zx2 (same car but they dropped the name escort)

I see you are very correct , although that car is not available brand new to us in canada. I am not as fond of focus as i am with the zx2 , i call unfair to the ford marketing team.

ZX2 was great it had a lot of get up and go with very little fuel consumption and it looked tight as crap. Ford's own import type car, but a lot better then an import cause its made in the USA. All american muscle. I work for Ford also. I'm not sure but I do believe I saw new ZX2 on the lot.

ic , count your blessings your not here up north in albertas cold hick town , it sucks here we dont get fresh new zx2's and it makes the value of the older ones stay high.
