1991 RS For Sale

The project has taken too much time and money and my personal frustration level has passed my mechanical ability.

91 RS - 3.1 - red -auto trans - PS - PB - AC - t-tops. 144 k miles. good body except for drivers front fender w/ 2 dents.
Tranny shifts fine, brakes good. interior rough. small leak in radiator at normal spot on fins opposite of top hose line (I fixed with a piece of water weld on fin area))
Parts replaced, either new or by good quality ones at boneyard include:
Steering column, Computer unit, Throttle body, IAC, TPS, EGR valve, Fuel Filter, MAP, EST, plugs, rotor, dist cap. drivers door.

When it runs, it runs great and smooth and I am impressed with the power and smoothness when it goes.

Problem is, that at it's own whim it coughs and dies. When started it idles ok but when throttle pressed it coughs / dies. After a couple of these attempts it starts, revs high and then settles down to normal and drives fine. You could get in it, start and drive for ever, or it could do it's thing in 10 minutes, go figure ??!

I'm located in Edwardsville Illinois, 25 miles east of St. Louis.
700.00 takes it.
In all honestly, I am losing over that amount on what I have in repair bills, let alone my purchase price of 750 paid Novemer 30th.
