zx2 v zx3

i know the zx2 is dead. and i know the zx3 is starting to get its performance packages. but if you had a decision to buy an 03 zx2 and a newer zx3. i know the older ones are crap, but when you get to the modern ones they have gotten better. which would you get... as a performance builder?

Re: zx2 v zx3

older zx3.. IMO.. better motor (no doubt the duratec is a very good motor, But I'll stick with a Zetec)

I don't like ZX2's zetec, VCT is JUNK.

Re: zx2 v zx3

ZX2 is a escort, ZX3 is a focus.

SVT focus is basically the same but with VCT on the intake side and a dual stage intake manifold, it has a few other add-ons from the base model focus also. If you're going for performance you don't really want a FSVT
