Mass Air SensoR
Morning
What are the symptoms of you mass air sensor failing? or When do you know when it is time to have your MAS replaced? |

when you have a 1996+ model, it should set off a OBD II code...
sometimes your vehicle may go into "limp mode" http://www.obd-codes.com/p0100 what that website didn't mention is when some people use those re-cleanable filters and re-oil it too much, then the excess coats the wire in the MAFs & you'll need to clean it with an electrical cleaner |

Even pre 96 cars can get an CEL from a faulty MAS and not all faulty MAS cause a CEL.
