New to Panoz - brake and other help
Just bought 2006 GTS - New to Panoz so any or all help appreciated - has been stored for the last couple of years and am looking to get it back on the track for track days - was planning to change all fluids, bearings, front spindles, brake rotors and pads - brembro rotors avail for the front (expensive) but not the rears - was considering having Coleman making a set all the way around - any experience? they said they would save template does anyone have them saved? has anyone had them make hats? has anyone had them make spindles?
any other tips/tricks welcomed Thanks!! |

I need some rotors also. Maybe we could get a group buy.

Re: New to Panoz - brake and other help
Im sure they would work with us - they indicated once they make measurements they save them to make duplicates - not decided if I am going to have them make hats also - they can also make spindles - spindles are available from Panoz - I was planning to replace them - Panoz replaced them yearly on the school cars - the originals have been known to break which can be catastrophic.

Re: New to Panoz - brake and other help
I have broken many spindles. Definitely change them and track age etc.
I would not get coleman anything for the brakes unless you are not running 10/10ths. They are not nearly as strong as Brembo etc.

Re: New to Panoz - brake and other help
Brian - thank you - will replace the spindles ASAP - the brembro fronts are available ($475 a pop) but I can't find the rears - do you have a source or part number - I have been told to change the disc hardware at the same time and inspect the hats closely - love the picture - sexy beast! Thad

Re: New to Panoz - brake and other help
I have purchased Coleman made rotors (just the ring not aluminum hat) twice and happy with the results. They give you a spec sheet to fill out and the turn around time is about 4 days at $250 each. I have the specs if you want to go this route. email is bill.benavitz@arthrex.com
