18's vs 17's
well i want to get 18 they look clean but stock performance ways(ex. doing u-turns) and my driving habits i liek to take turns:0) hehe..anyhow...woul it be best if i go with 17's and would it look with a terrible gap???or would 18's be best...i'm thinking aobut some light weight rims but then again been reading they not as strong as 1 peice rims so i'm etchy about that....anyhow whats the best size tires to go with 17's also?/thanks

With 17's...i'd look at 215/45/17
With any type of rims you fit you will need to lower it if you want the "no gap" look

The best tire size would be to go with 205/45 17 if you are planning on getting 17x7 rims.

Mr. Coilver says "205/40/17 "he he .
sorry wickedG20. either would work just fine. I rolled on the above. They line up right with the rim.

The tyre looks smaller then the width of the rim. Just my 2 cents worth.

nowway dude, Im with primeraman on the 17 tire size. its 215/45/17 all the way...matches the circumference of the stock tires the best. for overall performance benefit, 215/45's the way to go. anything less profile will make your tires wheel hop too much off the line. also, ride quality is not too good on the street (well, if you got stock sus, you might be okay, but that wheel gap is ugly). AND, unless you got some decent wheels, your chances of bending your rims are pretty darn high.
18s are more for show. not too keen on those rubberband-like super low-profile tires myself... even if you got 17's, you still need to lower your G to make it look good. otherwise, stick with stock or go 205/55/16's.

I think I agree. My tires look at little to small and is kinda bumpy. Like a really big muscular guy with skinny legs and tiny feet.
That bitch slap was funny !!!!

If your going to get 17's then the bigger the rim the more expensive, so you dont want to get off-road tires cause then your rim looks smaller. if you get 17's go with the 205\40\17 if you get 18's get 205\35 or 40\18. also go with toyo tires pricey but worth it.
