93 Town Car, AC works fine, heat came on sometimes and then quit. thermostate not stuck open, dosen't work on automatic or heat but you
can hear a door close when it is turned on. If it wasn't February I wouldn't worry about it untill next winter. (and then kick myself for forgetting it)

From your description I'm confused.

With the AC on, do you have full control of the temperature, fan blower speeds, and which vents the air flows from?

With the Heater on, do you have fan blower speed control, and control for which vents the air flows from?

Vents positions are: Dash, Windshield, and floor.

Yes have control on all, heater hoses hot. Guess that just leaves the blending door actuator?
