Historic Mercedes
In chapter 7 of his "Snoring Bird," Bernd Heinrich describes a car of his father's this way:
"Papa's first car was a 1919 Mercedes with a gold-plated gearshift mounted on the outside, so that you had to roll down the window to change gears." I find this unbelievable. I hope I may have informed opinions from the Forum. |
