Just bought a 96 roadmaster wagon with 66k miles. One of the issues I'm facing is no heat. The car has the climate control feature. Air works good, blows strong. I hooked up my OBDII scanner and it recorded the coolant temp at 195 even though the dash gauge moves only up to the quarter level at that temp. The strange thing is the IAT (Interior AIR temp) went from 85 degrees all the way to 117 degrees as the car warmed, even though the air was on and the actual temp was probably around 75. I get the impression the temp sensor that tells the climate control to supply heat or ac is defective. Can anyone concur and where do I find that little bugger if I need to replace it?
