HELP needed with the fricken immobilizer

Hi:

I'm trying to install an aftermarket alarm in my 1996 993TT. The factory immobilizer is making it very difficult. Has anyone had any success deactivating the factory immobilizer??

Actually, I was able to get it done...but it required DME reprogramming. For a full "how to" see the 993TT forum on Rennlist.
