Hey this is my first post to the forum. The Paeso area was the only place I thought might appreciate this.
My car is a Toyota Sera, which is the Japanese concept car based on the Paeso and Starlet. oh and it has gulwing doors!!! 1.5 litre engine and about 110bhp. Check out www.toyotasera.co.uk for pictures of my motor in the gallery section. Enjoy! G

Well true, it only has 110bhp as standard, but does a swift have awesome doors...I think not
And add a Starlet Turbo lump for 135bhp stock, with a potential of 300hp with a car that is less than a tonne...better looking than a swift, and a lot faster! Oh and its a Toyota!

Well, a turbo 3 1.0L (from a sprint) can take 300 horse, so I guess the 1.3L from the swift GTI can take a little more (I know people who have 300 on theirs). Sure the car doesn't look as kewl (Sura surely is one of the kewlest car I ever saw) but it's even lighter and it's more common

I;ve been drooling all over the Sera for some time now. It's a beautiful car, that weighs just over 2k lbs, with lots of potential. Sure, it has 108 bhp stock, but the 4e-fte (Starlet Turbo engine) bolts right in without much problem at all. Plus, the Sera has amazing suspension and handling. And, come on, look at it, it's beautiful. Now, if only I can get my hands on one... and then figure out a way to get my 5sfe engine, or 3sgte engine in there... probably not. But, a man can dream atleast.

Cheers guys. Nice to know the Sera is well known around the world.
Here in the UK there are around 150 of them. With even an owners club. Japan and Australia have more of them obviously. I love mine and to be honest im not going to sell it, and when it comes to needing a new car ill just buy another and use my sera as a classic car. If you guys can get hold of a sera in the US, do, cos they will become collectors items and they look awesome too. Will be getting a 4E-FTE turbo engine in the next year or so, so ill have much more power to deal with!!! take it easy!
