87 Grand National Probs
My brother and his wife bought a 87 GN off ebay and turned out had bad heads so they got some heads for it but he had it apart so long waitin for the heads he cant remember where all the hoses go like the waste gate solenoid is there but the hose on the waste gate just loops up to the top of the turbo. Also doesn't know where the boost pressure gauge switch is. The alt has a plug that goes in to a vac line and has a single wire that comes out that isn't hooked to anything. Thanks for any help you can lend it is much appreciated.

Re: 87 Brand National Probs
Just a suggestion here, this type of car requires a factory shop manual for proper info.

Re: 87 Brand National Probs
I don't see anything about a switch to vac off alt from Factory.

Re: 87 Brand National Probs
Agreed but the thread is a year old and dead now.

Re: 87 Brand National Probs
I started this thread on 7-08-09 but I think I figured out it's some sort of aftermarket voltage booster so I just cut it off and wired the brown wire direct.

My mistake misread the dates.
