d16z6..to own or not to own
im thinking about swapping a d16z6 into my 95 civic dx. I wanted to go b series but i dont have the cash to replace the tranny and all that. Is the d16z6 a good choice? I know that getting performance mods for it would be easy. How much would this engine cost?

Save your loot for a B series motor, no point in putitng in a D series. I am sure you can find one of those for free dude or at least less then a grand. |

Re: d16z6..to own or not to own
the link ur talking about is on sohchonda.com. its in their pic gallery. both teh y8 and z6 have their pros and cons. one flows better one gets better gas mileage and one has a better combustion chamber. i would personaly go with the z6 bc of the intake ports but that a choice u have to make when building a motor with the choice of these 2 heads. do ur studying and u wont regret it.
