Spark plugs...?
So looking for some help on this question...not a car guru but I am more than willing to learn!
Have a very reliable 2002 Rodeo V6, very well kept. Not needed much in the way of repairs....has about 135K miles on it and never changed the spark plugs. If I'm not talking crazy I believe that it has these coil packs and was told that they don't need to be changed often. Is this true? How often should they be changed? And how much do they cost? Is this something the home mechanic can do or is this one for the shops? Any info would help Thx |

Re: Spark plugs...?
The coils packs do not need to be changed as a maintenance item but only when one of them fails, which is rare. They are very easy to remove and reinstall, needing only a small socket and ratchet or Phillips screw driver.
