radiator on 93 SE
I just bought a 1993 Sentra. The hose running from the top of the radiator to the overflow resevoir is broken. Not sure if it was like that when I bought it or it happened in the last few days. Anyway, it looks as if a previous owner used some type of epoxy to attach the hose and broken part back into the radiator. My question is, does the whole radiator need to be replaced, or is there some type of fix for this?
Thanks in advance for any help. |

Re: radiator on 93 SE
If it is the connection at the filler neck, you can try to re-epoxy it.
Otherwise, you have to replace the radiator since the end cap of the radiator is not a serviceable part.

Re: radiator on 93 SE
Look on the bright side: If the radiator is the original one, its 17 or 18 years old, and they Do Not last forever. So a new would be a good thing.
P.S. I always replace the radiator hoses whenever I replace a radiator. |
