hey guys!
havnt been on in awhile. let's see where to start...o yea...has anybody done clear corner headlights yet? ive been talking to this guy form kentucky whos been able to take off the orange/yellow reflector tape from the headlights but im worried about condensation forming inside the light after im done. i know that resealing with some clear silicon will help but is there anything else i can do to further prevent condensation?

and also, im thinking about hooking up an illuminated entry. any idea which wire i should tap into to wire the neon lights? i was thinking the dome wire light. would the neo lights still work if i turned the dome light to the off position and opened the door?

thats it for now...

Re: solara DIY

I've heard of a lot of people on here and other forums who have done clear corners and resealed them with silicone sealant and no condesation has occured. Also, if you splice your neon wiring into the dome light, as long as you have it wired to the wires before they make it to the switch, they will come on when the doors are open, but if you wire it directly to the switch and leave the switch off, they won't come on at all.
